  • Obtain quotes from moving contractors with on-site walk through with each candidate.

  • Review the estimates with the client to compare “apples to apples” quotes and determine the best company for the project.

  • Source any specialty movers for artwork, exercise equipment, musical equipment, etc.

  • Schedule the moving company/companies in stages as determined prior to the move date.

  • Support the transition by scheduling utilities, cable, change of address, coordinating with building managers, insurance companies and other service providers.

  • Oversee packing to make sure that every item is handled with care, packed safely, inventoried and transported to the new location.

  • Line all cabinetry and shelving as required prior to the move-in date.

  • Schedule any specialty lining for closet drawers, silverware drawers, cabinets, etc.

  • Schedule cleaning of the new or existing residence as required from simple maid service up to construction cleaning including windows and exterior hard surfaces .

  • Schedule transport of hanging garments with outside contractor.

  • Unpack or oversee the unpacking at the new location to ensure that everything is unpacked, accounted for and carefully arranged to your specifications.

  • Professional installation

    • Install all kitchen items.

    • Install all closet items including clothing, shoes and accessories.

    • Install all bathroom items including toiletries and linens.

    • Install all home office items including files and supplies and equipment.

    • Install all linen closet, bar and pantry items.

    • Install all garage items including sports equipment and tools.

    • Install anything else intended for use in the home.

  • Purchase all organizing products as needed including storage baskets, drawer organizers, hooks and any necessary items to create a beautifully organized home.

  • Assist in placement of furniture, rugs, artwork, and accessories.

  • Prepare punch-list of any items needing attention in the new home as well as coordinating those repairs and overseeing their completion.

  • Dispose of all moving boxes and packing materials.
